In a little-known 1859 publication, former officer Anthony Sherman recalled that Washington described a “woman of ethereal beauty” who appeared in his tent, glowing, unblinking, and not fully human.

She showed him visions:

⚔️ And a final battle between “the children of light and the seeds of darkness.”

Was it prophecy? Hallucination? Or a coded record of alien contact?

And why did Washington order his personal diary from that winter to be sealed indefinitely?
